I have always been a huge Deep Purple fan, and during the days in Valencia I went to the record store to buy a record from Snarky Puppy and I went back home with a remastered edition of Machine Head. While listening to Maybe I’m a Leo I mixed together the two bands in my head and I imagined the guitar riff as a brass riff and the guitar solo as a sax solo. Thanks to the great Pietro for playing and arranging until late night the sax solo, all the piano parts and the high end horns in the coda.
